Tina collects a small amount of anonymous usage analytics. We record that certain events occurred in the app — for example that a message was sent, that a setting was changed, or that the app was launched — together with basic technical context such as app version, operating system version, and device model. We do not collect the contents of your conversations. The text you type, the responses you receive, your system prompts, and the addresses of the servers you configure are never transmitted to us. Because there is no account system, events are not tied to your name or email.
Your conversations, settings, and server addresses are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete the app. The app makes network connections to the inference endpoint you configure yourself — a local or self-hosted service such as Ollama or llama.cpp — and if you point it at a remote third-party service instead, the data you send travels only to that provider and is handled under that provider's privacy policy. Apart from analytics, no other network connections are made.
Because analytics events are anonymous, we generally cannot tell which events came from you and so cannot retrieve or delete them individually.
